Love Child. Diana Ross & The Supremes.

Love Child

I recall a few years ago, an Australian TV series that I loved to watch. It had the name ‘Love Child’ and was accompanied by the song with the same name sung by Diana Ross and the Supremes.

Love Child. As the Song Goes…

Chorus:

Love Child, never meant to be,
Love Child, diff'rent from the rest.

It reminded me of when I was a little girl living in Sydney where my parents listened to the trendy radio stations and from this period of time, I’ve always loved The Supremes and the 60’s music so when I heard it was to be used for a TV show, I was ready to be a keen viewer.

After the first few episodes, I was hooked as it was like stepping back in time for me!

It was an account of my introduction to the world except for one little thing. Although she was a single woman, my mother wasn’t a teenager.

As They Say It’s a Small World.

Karen didn’t know her father. He'd left when she was a wee girl and moved to Canada so she never heard from him at all growing up but, it's a small world.

Wonderful story

I was chatting to a lady who told me of a brief but wonderful story and as they say it’s a small world.

Karen didn’t know her father. He'd left when she was a wee girl and moved to Canada so she never heard from him but as they say it's a small world.

Lyn’s half-sister (Karen) didn’t really know her own father as he had left when she was only a small girl. He then moved to Toronto, Canada so she never heard from him at all, she recalls.

Although, as a young adult she knew by then that her father had re-married and had a couple of sons.
